SaloneAdventures & High Schools Africa Meets with AfriMoney CEO to Discuss Partnership

SaloneAdventures and High Schools Africa visited the Afrimoney CEO and team at the Africell Headquarters in Wilberforce on Tuesday. The meeting, arranged by Africell’s media manager, Abdul Karim Sesay, provided an opportunity for the groups to discuss potential partnerships and initiatives.

During the meeting, Murtala Mohamed Kamara, founder of SaloneAdventures, expressed gratitude to Abdul Karim Sesay, CEO of Afrimoney, and John Conteh, Marketing Director, for their time. The purpose of the visit was to explore collaboration on the upcoming SaloneAdventures Road trip, which will involve working with Goshers of High Schools Africa and Flying Flags, two Ghanaian motorbike adventurers. The tour aims to showcase Sierra Leone’s districts, tourism sites, cuisine, and cultures through captivating video content to be shared on various media platforms, promoting Sierra Leone.

Goshers, representing High Schools Africa, introduced the ‘Pick As You Go’ initiative, focusing on promoting sanitation in schools by providing trash cans and encouraging proper waste disposal among students in various districts across Sierra Leone.

Afrimoney CEO Martison Obeng-Agyei welcomed the visitors and expressed support for initiatives that promote tourism and positive perceptions of Sierra Leone. He highlighted the excitement and adventurous nature of the upcoming SaloneAdventures tour, emphasizing Afrimoney’s interest in supporting such initiatives.

John Conteh, Afrimoney’s marketing Director, also extended thanks to the teams for their visit.

The SaloneAdventures tour will feature Goshers and Flying Flags travelling with their motorbikes and a film crew to showcase Sierra Leone’s diverse offerings, including landmarks, cultural experiences, and cuisine, while also promoting the ‘Pick As You Go’ campaign for school sanitation. This initiative aims to highlight the best of Sierra Leone to a global audience.
