
Sierra Leonean actor Brian Conteh is making waves in Hollywood with his latest role in the thriller series “Mayor of Kingstown”. Conteh, who has been featured in other notable projects such as “We Own This City” and “The Walking Dead”, is proud to represent his country on the international stage.
In “Mayor of Kingstown”, Conteh plays a significant role alongside stars Jeremy Renner, Hugh Dillon, and Taylor Handley. The show, now streaming on Paramount Plus and other platforms, explores the dark side of power and survival in a city plagued by violence.
Conteh’s journey to stardom is inspiring. Born on MacDonald Street in Freetown, he attended Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood Secondary School and Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School. Before moving to the US, he was a dancer and was mentored by David Vandy, a respected elder in the Sierra Leone community ¹ ² ³.
