In discussing the industry’s potential, Mansaray expressed, “Absolutely, there are real prospects for the Sierra Leone film industry. We have raw talent, powerful stories, and a growing interest in local content.” Emphasising the need for increased investment in infrastructure, training, and platforms, she believes Sierra Leone has the opportunity to shine on the pan-African stage.
Reflecting on her experience working with Nigerian cinema greats, Mansaray recognised the impact of their dedication, stating, “The most valuable takeaway for me was witnessing their work ethic and the depth they bring to their craft.” Drawing inspiration from this, she aims to elevate her performances by staying true to her characters’ truths.
